aquatherm undersoil pitch heating for sports facilities
The suitability of the fusiotherm®-pipe system for undersoil pitch heating systems is confirmed by the national authorized institute for plastic and environmental technique as well as by the producer of the raw material.
The exceptional high self-insulating value of the fusiotherm-composite pipes used by aquatherm as distribution-pipes , has been determined by the Research Institute for Heat Technique (FIW). The fusiotherm®-pipes and fittings for the manifold connection pipes can be pre-insulated acc. to EnEV, corresponding to the values determined by the FIW, with an additional PUR-insulation in the PE-corrugated pipe.
The worldwide recognized quality standard of our systems is guaranteed by the DIN-ISO 9001 certified aquatherm-QS-system.
aquatherm is well known as supplier of undersoil system in the German Football league (DFB) and listed at the Union des associations europèennes de football (UEFA).
All components not produced by aquatherm, like heat exchanger, pressure extension tanks, pumps, mixer, stop-valves and control valves are well-adjusted to our system and also to high quality products of well-known producers. In conjunction with our undersoil heating system and the requirements arising from it, the compatibility of the compounds is certified by all producers.
aquatherm is a member of the Sponsoring Group of Landscape and Playing field Research Giessen e.V.
Connection technique
The complete undersoil pitch heating is installed with the fusiotherm®-pipe system by socket welding technique. Therefore no metallic materials, which due to their corrosion characteristics, from inside as well as from outside, can result in early damages in the pipe system.
A unique and unrivalled connection technique with security for a lifetime - not comparable with other plastic connections like agglutination or screwing.
As even most competitors in the field of undersoil heating produce their pipes of plastic, but the manifold of metal pipes, these two different pipe materials must be connected by metallic transition. The result of the fusiotherm connection by melting pipe and fitting, is an unsolvable material unit of the elements.
The weld-in saddle technique, developed by aquatherm, is applied for the distribution pipes.
The distribution pipes with weld-in saddles are supplied completely installed to the site, so that only the welding of distribution pipe and heating pipe has to be made onsite.
In the field of connection pipes - from the boiler up to the distribution pipes -fusiotherm®-faser-composite pipes can be supplied with a PUR (Polyurethane) foam insulation in the corrugated pipe. The effect is an additional reduction of heat output via the pipe wall, which again means saving of energy costs. These parts of the supply are offered by competitors partially with commercial steel- or plastic pipes - without insulation. |
